1/2 cup García de la Cruz Garlic Stuffed Olives, chopped
4 ounces cream cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
1/4 teaspoon pepper (adjust to taste)
2 tablespoons García de la Cruz Extra Virgin Olive Oil
DIRECTIONS
Make a cut in each chicken breast to form a pocket.
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, garlic powder, chopped stuffed olives, salt, and pepper.
Stuff the chicken breasts with this mixture.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Carefully place the stuffed chicken breasts in the skillet and sear until browned on one side, about 5-7 minutes.
Flip the chicken breasts carefully to avoid spilling the stuffing and continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes on the other side.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet with a lid, and continue cooking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Check periodically to ensure that the chicken does not burn and the stuffing heats through.
